Services Provided
Babar Tech provides Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services including:
- 24/7 Security Monitoring: Continuous analysis of security logs and telemetry
- Threat Detection: Identifying malicious activity using behavioral analytics and threat intelligence
- Incident Investigation: Analyzing alerts to determine scope and impact
- Response Coordination: Guiding containment and remediation actions
- Threat Hunting: Proactive searches for indicators of compromise
- Reporting: Regular summaries and incident reports
Specific service details, SLAs, and deliverables are defined in your individual Service Agreement.
Your Responsibilities
To receive effective MDR services, you agree to:
Access & Integration
- Provide timely access to security logs and systems
- Deploy and maintain required monitoring agents (EDR, log forwarding)
- Grant necessary permissions for investigation and response
- Maintain accurate contact information for security alerts
Response & Remediation
- Act on incident response guidance in a timely manner
- Implement recommended security controls
- Communicate system changes that may affect monitoring
- Participate in incident debriefs and lessons learned
Compliance & Policies
- Ensure you have authority to share security data with us
- Maintain adequate insurance and disaster recovery plans
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
Service Limitations
What We Do NOT Provide
- Guarantee of Zero Breaches: MDR significantly reduces risk but cannot prevent all incidents
- Infrastructure Management: We do not manage firewalls, patch servers, or configure devices
- Direct Remediation: We guide response but do not directly modify your systems without authorization
- Legal/Compliance Advice: We are security experts, not lawyers or auditors
- Forensics/E-Discovery: Post-incident forensics may require separate engagement
Service Dependencies
Our ability to detect threats depends on:
- Quality and completeness of logs provided
- Proper deployment of monitoring agents
- Network connectivity and data transmission
- Your timely response to our guidance
Limitation of Liability
Liability Cap
Our total liability for any claim arising from services is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the incident.
Excluded Damages
We are not liable for:
- Consequential, indirect, or punitive damages
- Lost profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages resulting from your failure to implement recommendations
- Damages caused by third-party services or products
- Incidents not detectable with the data/logs provided
Warranties Disclaimer
Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:
- All threats will be detected
- Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
- All vulnerabilities will be identified
Termination
By You
- Monthly Plans: 30 days written notice
- Annual Plans: As specified in Service Agreement
- Fees are non-refundable for services already rendered
By Us
We may terminate immediately if you:
- Fail to pay invoices within 30 days
- Violate these Terms or your Service Agreement
- Engage in illegal activities
- Interfere with our operations
Upon Termination
- Access to monitoring platforms will be disabled
- Historical data will be retained per our Privacy Policy
- Final reports will be delivered within 15 days
- Outstanding invoices remain due
General Terms
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to protect confidential information shared during the service relationship. Security data and incident details are considered confidential.
Intellectual Property
- Your Data: You retain all rights to your security data
- Our Tools: We retain all rights to detection rules, playbooks, and methodologies
- Reports: You may use reports for internal purposes but not redistribute
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with 30 days notice. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
